The YB Fit Diet

"Lets talk Breakfast, the most important meal of the day.  Why?  Well by the nature of its name, you are breaking a fast and need to fuel the body for the activities of the day ahead.  If you don't eat breakfast, you are more likely to hold onto that fat you want to lose.

Some Choices:

  1.   2 eggs ( you can eat up to 4 eggs / week ), 2 pieces whole grain bread ( oatmeal or wheat) with a little butter, banana.

  2.   A healthy cereal ( low sugar ), 8 oz. skim, 1% or skim milk, banana.

  3.  7 grain hot cereal or oatmeal, banana, 1 tsp. flaxseed oil,  1/4 cup raisins, 8 oz  skim, 1 %, or soymilk

  4. A commercial meal replacement bar no less than 400 calories with less than 5 gm. of fat.   

  5. YB Fit Shake or a commercial meal replacement shake of your choice.       

  6. Beverages : 1 % , skim or soymilk, green tea (hot or iced), 1 cup coffee light, 100% juice  

     In the morning I'm pressed for time so I opt for my healthy shake.  YB Fit Shake.  In a blender mix 1 cup of skim oe plain soymilk, 1 banana, 1/4 cup berries (fresh or frozen blueberries, strawberries, raspberries), 1/4 cup plain soy or regular low fat yogurt, 1/2 - 1 scoop Cytosport vanilla whey protein powder (www.cytosport.com), 1 tsp. organic cold pressed flaxseed oil  .     Enjoy !  "
